Winning Wheels is a wheelchair tennis club based at the indoor courts at Craiglockhart Tennis Centre in Edinburgh.
The club was set up with the help of Anna Myatt, Edinburgh Leisure's tennis development officer to promote and develop wheelchair tennis in the East of Scotland. An informal club was started in 2006 and the club received charitable status in 2007 (Charity no. SCO38450).
It was decided at the 2011 AGM that we would extend the scope of the club to include the whole of Scotland to help the sport grow throughout the country.
In addition to our weekly Sunday sessions at Craiglockhart there are now regular wheelchair tennis sessions at the indoor courts at Glasgow, Stirling & Aberdeen with a new session hopefully starting soon at Prestwick -
Glasgow (Scotstoun): Tuesdays 1pm - 3pm.
Aberdeen (Westburn): Wednesdays 11am - 12pm.
Stirling University: Wednesdays 7pm - 9pm
